Astoris itself is free and open source. Add-ons extend it with new connections, tools and apps — most are free; some premium add-ons plug into paid third-party services (usually with a free tier). You pay those costs directly to the provider, not to Astoris. Install them with a single upload right inside your Astoris instance.

Searches the web. With a Brave API key (free, robust) or without a key via DuckDuckGo (best-effort, may be rate-limited at times). The key is optional in the apiKey field.
